Congratulations to Hilton Girls for being selected as an At Large team to the NTN Championships and having an opportunity to defend their National Title.
Also Congratulations to Footlocker Finalists Liz Deir (HFL), her 2nd year, and Allison Sawyer (Hilton) while Caroline Schultz (Hilton) placed 11th, just .5 seconds out of qualifying ( Update: Caroline Schultz indeed became a Footlocker Finalist after Danielle Taura could not recover from her injury). Christian Thompson (Candor) was 11th also; Corey Robinson (Odyssey) was 14th. Mary Kate Champagne (Seton Catholic) was 15th and Pat Dupont (Fairport) 27th--the last two are juniors and project next year to be the #7 qualifiers.
Both Hilton, ranked #1 in NYS and the USA and Radnor, ranked #1 in PA and 14th in the USA, were at the Eastern Regional Elite Distance Camp last summer. They finished 1st and 2nd at the 2006 Warwick Invitational.
